Postseason

South Beaverton Girls Little League is part of Oregon District 4 Little League. For Softball, we compete against Banks, Forest Grove, Lake Oswego, Southwest Portland, Tigard, Tillamook County and Willow Creek Little Leagues. On any given year, all Little Leagues will put together postseason teams to compete in 3 different District 4 Tournaments. Those tournaments are:  

8-9-10 All-Stars: District 4 Tournament, late June; Oregon State Tournament, mid-late July

9-10-11 All-Stars: District 4 Tournament, late June; Oregon State Tournament, mid-late July

Majors All-Stars: District 4 Tournament, late June to early July; Oregon State Tournament mid-late July; West Regional Tournament late July to early August; Little League Softball World Series, August

Postseason will begin with intent to play signups towards the end of May informing parents and players of known schedules, cost of play and evaluation process. This is used by the board to determine the numbers of teams that could be expected to play in postseason tournaments and uniforms to order. Registration for postseason will begin in early June. Evaluations will be conducted by, but not limited to, evaluation sessions similar to those in February, end of season division tournaments, Division Manager meetings, etc. Postseason Team Managers will be determined by the board in early June. Teams will be voted on by Division Managers upon completion of postseason registration and evaluation method(s). Practices will begin based on team availability, expect 3-5 practices per week while postseason continues.
